Privacy Policy

IOU by Pompi stores the IOU title, payer name, currency, payment instructions, people you add, item splits, settlement status, uploaded receipt images, OCR text, and hashed access tokens.

We use this data only to run the receipt-splitting tool, show private owner and participant links, generate exports, and send emails when you ask. We do not sell data or require accounts.

Private links act like passwords; share them only with people who should see the IOU. Receipt files stay on server storage and can be deleted when the owner deletes the IOU.

We use local storage for language and participant links in the owner's browser, and HttpOnly session cookies to keep owner and share tokens out of ongoing API URLs. Contact the site operator if you need data removed.
